Kat obtained her BFA in Stop Motion Fabrication from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA in 2021, and is currently based in Orlando, FL while she is pursuing her MA in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex and also working as a Scenic Painter at Universal Orlando Theme Parks. While attending AAU, Kat worked as an Equity Stage Manager, Set Dresser, Properties Master, Scenic Painter, and Carpenter at San Francisco Playhouse for 5 years. She is well-rounded in fabrication skills that include, but are not limited to, woodworking, faux finishing, texturing, molding, metal-work, soldering, and sculpting. With these skills, she is also well-versed in carpentry and metal shop tools and safety. Kat hopes to continue to refine her eye for detail and continue to work in the field she is passionate about.
